Eight Count Hip Hop Wedding Dance

Eight Count dancers getting ready to perform a surprise Hip Hop routine at my wedding!

Hey, I know we are all really busy people.  Most of us have one hour to spend at the gym (if even that), so when you show up for a class, I want you to have a jam-packed whole body strength and cardio workout so that you will feel satisfied and DONE for the day.  Not all of us can spend 2-3 hours working out everyday!  So what can you expect from my fitness classes?  Non-stop moving synchronized with Top 40 music at 150 beats per minute, mixing strength and cardio bursts of all-out intensity that leaves you shaking and breathless!

FITNESS CHOREOGRAPHY

I have been teaching fitness since 2005 and I was used to creating choreography for my own cardio, strength, and yoga classes.  Only recently in 2012 was I given the opportunity to start choreographing for someone else, Michelle Dozois.  Michelle is the creator of the Peak Fit System and I have been fortunate to work on her latest Peak 10 Cardio Strength and Cardio Interval Burn classes.  In addition, Michelle launched a new program called BodyFIT360, which incorporates high energy cardio, dance, strength, yoga, and pilates in a one hour class, and I am helping to co-choreograph new BodyFIT360 routines.

Here is a clip of the first BodyFIT360 routine and Peak 10 Cardio Strength Remix routine which was released on DVD in May 2013:

DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY & DIRECTION

I’ve retired my childhood dream of becoming a professional dancer with Michael and Janet Jackson.  Sigh.

Over the past 2 decades, I have directed, choreographed, taught, and performed with groups of dancers to prepare for various performances.  I’ve worked with cheerleaders, hip hop dancers, church dance ministries, and even elementary school students and teachers.  Thanks to YouTube, we are now able to capture and remember memories through old videos.
